It took me years to learn how to code like a professional, but I have a lifetime to code with the curiosity of a child. This marks the beginning of my generative art journey, where I’m launching a playful, imaginative, and bold project called Thickture.

This study explores the realm of algorithmically sculpting and drawing abstract organic structures and patterns. The foundation is a noise algorithm, and I’ve programmed a system on top of it that follows a simplistic aesthetic concept. This is the first in a series of three, each tailored to its own style. This one is bold and brash. The next will be a study in minimalism—exploring the bare minimum needed to create interesting and beautiful generative art. The third will find a middle ground, blending boldness and minimalism to achieve a sophisticated mix of both.
